The Reuters Digital News Report 2024 highlights a tenuous point of balance media has reached in terms of being trusted and avoided. How can journalists re-establish the connection to their audiences and their audiences’ needs? This session will kick off with a conversation around a collection of futures: each participant will share one particular aspect they believe is needed for a future where journalism is in equilibrium with its audience.
During this session, we want to foster constructive dialogue around the collective future of journalism – exploring different needs, feelings, questions and ideas.
