First OSINT Journalism Roundtable at Publix

How can the OSINT community in German-speaking countries build stronger connections and share knowledge more effectively? Lea Weinmann, a journalist on the investigative team at the Süddeutsche Zeitung, is exploring this question as part of her fellowship at Publix.

To kick things off, Publix is joining forces with her to host the first OSINT Journalism Roundtable. This new format aims to create a space for exchange, mutual support, and collaborative learning. The focus will be on current topics and challenges within the OSINT community, the stronger integration of OSINT skills into German-speaking newsrooms, and the question of how smaller media outlets in particular can be better integrated.

The roundtable is intended as a starting point for stronger networking among OSINT journalists in the German-speaking world. Participants will also discuss how this exchange can be continued in the future and in what formats it can take place.
