TikTok now has over one billion users worldwide. As a result, the platform is the leading medium for the younger generation - and a place where journalism is urgently needed.
TikTok offers the opportunity to communicate complex topics in a creative and appealing way and thus reach a broad target group. Salon5 relies precisely on this innovative type of journalism to sensitise young people to important social issues and provide them with reliable information.
In this workshop, young journalists from Salon5, CORRECTIV's youth editorial team, will show how well-researched content works on the platform, how to counter disinformation and how to get young people excited about reliable information.
