Annual Press Conference of Forum Fairer Handel e.V.

The Fair Trade Forum invites to its annual press conference at Publix. The focus will be on the economic development of fair trade in Germany during the 2025 fiscal year, as well as a comparative look beyond Germany’s borders: How is fair trade developing in Switzerland, Austria, and France?

The Fair Trade Forum is also celebrating its 20th anniversary. This is an occasion to take stock of the political landscape: In light of growing market power in the food retail sector and a political rollback of sustainability regulations, the preliminary assessment ranges from thought-provoking to combative. This makes fair and sustainable pioneering companies—such as those united under the umbrella of the Fair Trade Forum—all the more important.
