Award Ceremony "Youth Photographs Germany" Competition

The competition "Youth Photographs Germany" is the first nationwide project of the laif foundation for independent photojournalism. It invites young people between 10 and 18 years old, introduces them to photojournalism, and makes their perspectives visible to others. 270 groups and almost 800 participants captured their ideas, wishes, and challenges in personal photo series in the first year.

Valentina Crosato and Sven Ehmann from the laif foundation will present the prize to this year's winning team and discuss their choice of theme as well as their photographic approach with them. The three winning series in the 10-14 years category are exhibited in the lower level.
