A Live-Podcast-Discussion (DE/ENG)
Since 2014, Ukrainian civil society has played a key role in resisting Russia’s war of aggression.
Its courage, creativity, and resilience serve as an example for civil societies in Germany and across Europe.
What can we learn from the experiences of people in Ukraine and the diaspora?
How can we raise public awareness that the war, in its many hybrid forms, already has a deeply European dimension?
And what does it take to build greater resilience together in Europe?
These are the questions explored in the fifth episode of “Trümmer & Träume” – a podcast series by the Foundation EVZ (Remembrance, Responsibility and Future) – recorded live in Berlin.
Guests:
Alona Karavai, curator and cultural manager
Nataliya Pryhornytska, political scientist and programme officer at the EVZ Foundation
Franziska Davies, historian of Eastern Europe
Moderation: Ira Peter, freelance journalist and podcaster
