Action Lab: Editorial Society

The Action Lab is a project by the ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS and the Hamburg Public Libraries – a mobile and interactive exhibition on the topic of news literacy. It is aimed at anyone who has had little prior engagement with (dis)information. The exhibition encourages reflection on how we deal with information and promotes informed participation, based on the concept of an Editorial Society.

In addition to informational content to read, there are also digital games: a VR module lets visitors emotionally experience the impact of limited information. Another game invites participants to tackle challenges around handling information together. Topics such as filter bubbles and source verification are also addressed.
